Before hair transplantation the precise assessment of the patient's hair and scalp condition is very important, therefore each intervention is preceded by the hair's medical examination. Hair examination done through micro cameras shows the smallest details of the scalp and the hair roots directly in 300x magnification.

With the help of the examination of the hair and the scalp we can determine how healthy the hair and the scalp are, and also, we can assess the density of the hairs.

The first step of hair examination is the survey of the hairs and scalp done by the hair therapist, which is followed by the examination with micro cameras.

In case the hair therapist finds it necessary to do further examination, (s)he may extract 1-3 hairs from the scalp. Then (s)he submits the extracted hairs to microscopic hair examination so as to gain information about the seriousness of hair loss and balding.

The result of the hair examination is the combination of the survey done by the specialist during the consultation and the medical hair examination. If You had taken part in an internal medical examination, please bring the results with You.

In case of genetic balding there's no need for it, since the reasons for genetic balding are well known to the well-trained, experienced surgeon team in our clinic. So if we are talking about androgenetic alopecy in Your case it's enough if the examination is done by a specialist hair therapist.
