The FUE method has definately meant a revolutionary break-through in hair implantation, as opposed to the streak extraction techniques. An opportunity opened to perform acceptable and quality work. Although it is mentioned as single hair extraction in Hungary, the English abbreviation means hair extraction in units (extraction of 2-3-4 or more hairs).
The gist of the method is that a 1,0-1,2 mm kortum is used to cut the hair units around. Then the garfts containing these hairs are implanted into the recipient (balding) area after creating the same small holes.
Although, it is not frequently discussed, correctness requires everyone to see the imperfections of this method. The drawbacks can be divided into two parts, extraction and implantation. It's clearly visible in the pictures that FUE hair implantation leaves traces.
A lot of people claim that these depend on the healing of the wound and skin type, but actually, the donor area's massive thinning can be observed in each case after the FUE intervention.
Not only does the thick needle cut out unnecessarily large skin tissue around the hairs, but it also harms the other hairs closely grouped around, consequently thinning the hairs found in the donor area.
Let's take a simple example. Take a look at your friend's or acquaintace's scalp. It is visible to the naked eye that the groups of hair stand closer than 1 mm to each other in the donor area, so it's unavoidable to harm the hairs beside them, especially in places where the groups of hairs are standing close to each other.
Consequently, with this method we lose precious hairs, which are scarcely available anyway. During implantation the problem occurs when the thick needle cuts out a large skin tissue around the hairs, which makes it impossible to plant the groups of hairs densely enough because the unnecessary skin tissue gets stuck between the hairs.
To illustrate the disadvantage, we used an almost completely bald head, which can be seen in the pictures. Presented in this way, it becomes clear that the FUE hair transplantation technique can also be applied perfectly well, since, for example, in the case of women, it is almost impossible that those who want to wear such a short 'hairstyle' would want to undergo FUE hair transplantation.
Our study was assembled based on several years of experience in the FUE hair implantation method. We do not say this method is bad or inadequate for hair implantation, but there are much finer methods for hair implantation these days (FUE Safe System, SHE).
Besides the numerous modern methods our clinic still uses the FUE method, because it's a relatively cheap intervention and the result is also acceptable, but the above mentioned limits should be known to every client before making a decision which method to choose.

In this case we are talking about a more advanced version of the FUE method. With this technique instead of extracting hairs by hand a machine is used for this purpose. This intervention can make the surgeon's job easier, but not in every case.
Though it is rarely spoken about, the extraction is just as an important part of the procedure as the implantation. The method itself, by and large, is the same as the basic FUE technique (size of needle, failure rate). Though, with this method the result will not be perfect, we can get a result with a good price/value rate. At the same time it's important to mention that just as in the case of the basic FUE method, it leaves small holes and pathes on the nape, which significantly rarefy the donor area.
